Hi Tom I’m a late comer to your channel. I’m not a model maker or railway enthusiast but I am a big Will Hay fan. My Dad used to go rabbiting with Graham Moffatt when he lived in Braybrooke. I grew up with these films as a staple due to my Dads connection. They are all wonderful but Oh Mr Porter is a true classic and to see your wonderful models bringing it all back to life makes me very happy - so thank you.

Thank you :) we unveiled a plaque on the Swan in Braybrooke a couple of years ago for Graham.

@@BuggleskellyStation in the film I believe its not exactly explained way no if very few passenger trains stopped at Buggles Kelly I guess the local people didn't use the station because of it being connected to the ghost story. I believe it was explained that Gladstone had been there for many years and was used to shunt the sidings.

Awesome build Tom...I love building/creating rail scenes...'Oh, Mr. Porter!' is a great movie.

The transformation when you add the station building and the greenery just pops! It looks so good.

Aww, that is lovely! Some years ago I took a few disabled people to Cliddesden Station site (after they had viewed the film) in the Day Centre minibus to see what remained. On return to the Day Centre I had to fill in the journey details for the local authority jobsworths; and in the "Destination box" at the top of the log sheet I wrote "Buggleskelly". It never got queried! I have watched Oh Mr Porter countless times and it always makes me laugh out loud.

Tom this is a really entertaining and informative video. You’ve put some effort in here! The final shots comparing the film to your diorama are moving to be honest. Loved it. Well done

Looks great. Loved that movie and as I’m a big fan of the southern Railway I loved getting to see Gladstone, the LSWR X2 and the 395 class locomotives. The really don’t make them like the used to

Fantastic video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Particularly as I love all things rail and Oh Mr Porter is one of my all time favourite films. I was intrigued as to how you got the characters done, as they are unmistakable representations.

Thanks, just a lot of adjusting the faces copying photos of the actors. They took some time to get right.

Fantastic work. I just watched the movie and was redirected by KZbin to your video which captures the movie exactly. I was brought up in the 50s by a father who had a great sense of humour. He loved Will Hay and Laurel and Hardy. Regularly shown on BBC . My love for these stars has been passed on to my son here in Canada. We regularly have viewing parties. All great fun. Much laughter even though we've seen all the movies many times. Thanks for sharing this.

Oh well - maybe it _could_ do with a coat of paint! Great work. This is something I've thought of doing for ages, I just never had the confidence. I love the attention to all the little details.

Go for it, the nice thing about Buggleskelly is you can get away with things looking messy or broken, the more run down the better!

Superb stuff Tom, it makes me want to build one of these Buggleskelly scenes. You have done marvellous work on all aspects of the modelled scene. Though I would like it as a working feature for myself on a branch line scenario piece. Pat yourself on the back for making the diorama, and this video of BS - SRNI from Will Hay's film Oh Mr Porter. Thanks for sharing, Cheers, Jay, Belfast, NI.
