@@planitmc1204 this is more for an emergency, rather than an weekend hunting. But knowing how is invaluable if you ever need it.

That's a lot of string and twine. If I'm going into a survival mode, i'd rather take my real knife, axe and bow rather than a huge roll of string and a credit card.

@@dog3y3 of course you could. But life happens and most often when people end up in these types of situations they don't have a full size axe, knife, and bow. You could have these though, which are small enough to fit into an altoids tin in your pocket or pack, or even in your wallet.
