The drying rack is worth building - you can dry the special meats (any that is not just meat). They give different buffs and can stack with cooked meat. Prime meat was removed some time ago and replaced with the special meats. When cooked all the special meats give the same 'prime meat' buff. It's only when dried that you get different buffs.

You can convert the fish to fish chunks to cook right away :-) (Right click)

Chop lots of wood and make wood piles of them. You can then use the wood to build with as needed, but without having to carry all of it.

Also since constructing gives you XP, you can use your excess build materials using the workbrench to craft rope or bandages all you can build the destroy them think you can recover some materials, you will gain XP. Also, if you like to explore, can do a push to uncharted territory building temporary wood places... but since you are investing so much in your cabin maybe keep constructing (lots of upkeep), any how, hope you get us chap3! great work!

You might have DLSS or FSR enabled. That will lower the resolution to try and save some FPS

You want to click and HOLD in order to move the box from left to right :) I immediately knew how to do it because Stardew Valley has the same fishing mechanic lol

It's definitely got some bugs and performance issues, but with some fine tuning you can fix the performance issues. As for the bugs, the devs are very attentive but the bugs can be frustrating and I hope they continue working on them

Why do I see people use the knife to break up bones? The axe works much better.

Honestly I haven't tested to see what tool works best. All I found was that the knife is really quick so I use that instead of the axe or pickaxe

@@BlondeDon I'm very new to the game, so there's a lot I don't know yet. But I was breaking a knife on every set of bones. I started using the axe and my knife lasts much longer now.
