Nice work! Going to be great. I know what you mean about the pro. rigs, some of those cost as much as a small car! Funny, I had to make a kind of overhead handle for my daughters camera today. Just a 'C' shape in flat aluminium with rubber for the handle and the screw in the bottom so she can shoot video near the floor.

That was quite a coincidence, it sounds like a smart solution! 👍 I just recently saw a review of a heavy duty professional tripod that cost more than $10 000 - and that was still just a tripod! Thanks a lot for having faith in my project 😊 I hope it will be decent!

Hahaha.... well it is safe to say, you impressed me a lot. The 3D model and putting it all together with all those angles and explanations. Amazingly done mr. Hestad 👏🏻

generally all you bracing material seems to thin or weak compared to the main tubes. i think You would save much work and time making havier solid brackets in the bottom, and upper sides too; the bolt size seems already appropriate though :)

Yes, I can confirm that, I cannot fully tighten the bolts - the bracing just bends. The three vertical pipes are quite sturdy, but it makes the sliding mechanism a bit hard to move up and down (that's shown in the next video) when the pipes are flexing a bit, and of course I need to wait until the stand is stable after moving it - and it's a bit annoying. I have used it now for some months, and gained a bit experience. It is a fantastic tool compared to my old tripod, but it can be improved. Thanks a lot for you thoughts! 😊

That's a great video, I planned to make whatever you said in the title, then realize I can't cut steel channel or use a welder, even own a welder. So I was thinking, maybe down the street I can rent a power hacksaw go to the local steel place and pick up an eight footer, then off to rent a welder. That was easy, thank you.

Hi, yes it is. I have been using Davinci Resolve for editing all my videos for years now. The keyboard is the Davinci Resolve Speed Editor, it was bundled with the DR Studio version some years ago (i more or less got it for free 😁)
