This is inspirational. At one time I had 10 cats. It didn't seem like much until feeding time when they all came in the kitchen at once. Otherwise, they all did their own thing around the house. Now I'm down to 4 cats and I'm always wondering what I can do to enrich their lives. Building a catio is on my wish list. I got a big back yard and I want them to enjoy it, but at the same time be safe from predators. I like the idea of using PVC, but I think I would like to use chicken wire and crafting wire to attach it.

Feeding time can definitely be a lot lol but now I put them in each of their kennels and feed them that way now. It’s been a lot helpful and less stressful. Are your cats outside or indoor cats?

Use stakes like for a tent, and stake the bottom down it will give it stability and keep the wind from blowing it away

You need more poles in the middle going up and down and across and that way there’s more support and you’re gonna need more polls to connect your screen to so you definitely need at least one more in the middle of one is going up and down and one more going crossways in the middle

Hey LaLa, why did you choose pvc pipes instead of wood? Also the netting material you chose? Are you not concerned that predators would be able to get through the pvc and mesh easily? Your Catio is cute!

You should have attached the catio to the side of that shed to add stability! Also, maybe some tent steaks in the ground to hold the pvc pipe down to the ground securely ..
