Try looking for some brick - print contact paper. That will be much easier than painting cardboard.

Instead of sticks from outside. Im pretty sure they sell fake logs with plug in light to look like flames sorta. I can't remember where I seen them but I know they sell them cause my mom has some. Then ya can always put it up for next yr. And not have to worry about actual sticks from outside.

You need to to have a fun raiser so you can get some plywood and cover the walls.

Hello Ms LaLa & cats I have been watching you now for sometime and have been ordering different things I’m hopeful you can use. Some items I started when the cats were just kittens and had never gotten mail off to you over time but I’ll still be sending them off to you anyway. In the past I had texted you and said I was going to do some things for you and the kittens back then. I try hard to keep my word but I move very slowly and depend on the assistance of my great niece to help me out with mostly everything these days especially with putting things in the mail for me. And one thing that has been a hold up for me is I want to enclose a note into the box along with the items I’m sending to you and now that is the only thing that is a holdup & keeping me from taping it up to mail off to you. You are doing a good thing for God critters. With must support and success to you and your camera person and all the cats. I will text message you once the box is mailed off to you. That's a great idea I might do the same for my bunnies and my cats ❤ if you get sticks to put under there you should also get orange and yellow tissue paper cut it into like flames or bunch it up and stick it in the logs to make it look like it's on fire maybe put some fake tea light candles in the sticks and papers would look cool you could stick the stockings on the fireplace after painting it

I brought white brick wall paper. And I ordered the fake paper flames too.. I also used. Black trash bag as the dark coaled stained inner fireplace
