A Finn here, I don't know if you're reading the comments, but here's my 10cents. In a sauna, you sit on an elevated bench so your feet are not on the floor, but 2 feet above. Ventilation is a must, air in from the floor level near heater, air out from the opposite side near ceiling, if you can open the window a bit, it helps. Great work so far.

I've realized what it is that makes watching your videos so appealing. There is a smoothness and grace to your movements. No matter what you are doing it's as if my visual/ auditory senses were going on a soothing, peaceful trip. I also see it in a few other people on youtube. I can watch you and listen to your tone and it doesn't feel as if you are hurling words at me. Your video scans have just the right amount of speed to see the scene, the wildlife, etc. Your scenes to show Sweet, faithful Cali are timed just right. I hope this doesn't read too maudling for I am most sincere. Guess my mind has been working on this for some time and all of a sudden the why is answered as I watched tonight. It's why I keep coming back. Thank you and keep up the good work. Looking forward to a finished sauna/bath house.

Hi Shawn, at the start of the video, I was thinking how cool it is that you let the natural sounds tell the story. Walking in the half-ice snow, the sound of hammering, smoothing, sawing, and Cali's happy panting. Those sounds tell your story, wood chopping, burgers and steaks sizzling. It's a whole environment that makes both you and us whole. And, when you do put in music, it's appropriate guitar, flute, or other simple sounds of freedom. Artful and well done. I like each and every one of the sounds of your world.

Just to let you know, Easter celebration is a pagan holiday and nothing to do with Jesus. Christians are fooled by the church to celebrate pagan holiday by naming the old pagan holidays with “Christian” names. Ever wonder why Easter is celebrated with bunnies that lay eggs?

@@lindanwfirefighter4973 - Really, I don't need your crap "atheist-splaining" away of yet another holiday that many hold dear to them. If YOU don't think of it as a religious holiday, fine, don't but don't be a d-bag trying to spoil it for the many who do consider it a sacred and important holiday. People such as yourself find great joy in trying to rile up others (I'm not, btw; I don't care what you actually believe or don't believe) and those [you] are EXACTLY the kind of people most of us are trying to get away from when we say we're ready to live off the land, deep in the woods. Two things I don't discuss with others; religion and politics, because both topics are hot button issues and MOST people don't actually "listen" to the other person in the conversation because they've already [usually] made up their minds regarding what THEY believe the truth is. So why bother discussing either? Namaste
@NPCs Go Away! ... actually easter is a celtic holdiay to celbrate the rebirth of nature ... the Church melded it into the ressurection to make conversion easier with the celt's ... btw the 3 candles at christmas are also celtic ... they represent the body mind and spirit of honoured foes defeated in battle ... in celtic tradition this was when they sacraficed them and ate the heart mind anf flesh of the honoured foe ... 90% of chirstian belief's are NOT christian ... btw the church that is run by the pope is the church of PAUL not Jesus .. it is built upon the tomb of the founder Paul ... the most rebuked Appostle of Jesus because he kept modifying what Jesus Taught ..
