Building a

well, here we are again! into the 3rd weekend of January and I find my self unable to head out west, if you think it's starting to get to me, then you would be correct lol, ideally ill be able to monetize the channel soon so I can dedicate whatever income it generates directly back into the channel and get some righteous footage to share, but until then we still have some pieces that have yet to be installed on the truck, one of those pieces is the front skid plate from #coastaloffroad that they sent my way after I had failed to add it to the cart when I got the bumper lol so thanks to them for that. My good friend Jordan Jacket of NuFab coatings in Lacombe helped us out by building a coastal off road front skid plate for a nissan frontier, I'm sure once you see you will agree that having a skilled professional on your side guarantees that the pieces meant to protect you will do their job. Once that was done I install it on the truck and put my big meaty mud terrains back on simply because I want the look back haha typical #blindmanoverland haha

I just got the Coastal Offroad bumper kit and Rad skid plate for my 2015 Xterra P4X. Did you make a video for the bumper assembly too? I looked but didn't see one.

Re-torque the lug nuts! Know what your vehicle torque specs are. On my Tacoma they were 84 foot pounds. Had new winter tires put on at #&@-&+*E and the balancing was way out. Took the truck back for a re-balance and they came in with a lug nut they said was cross threaded. Not with these rims! Their air wrench was set at 100 foot pounds but never checked and we had a problem. You could see how the lug bolt was pulled apart. Lost one more on the road and one came off in my hand when I checked them. They replaced 24 lug bolts and hand threaded then hand torqued them to spec. Safety is key both for your self/family and other drivers - yes re-torque but beware of how the rims are installed at dealers. Nice skid plate - and just how long do you think that super powder coat will last before it look like a gator's belly? See you in the back country.

Installing was free as I did it my self, and my friends at nufab assembled it for my birthday lol but I would suspect about 200 bucks or so for welding and 100 for powder maybe?
