But on a more serious note, i am just starting my content creation journey properly now and you're an inspiration. Hopefully one day I'll make it. I always look at the billion different setups you do every year not as "here is my real everyday permanent setup" but more as "here is a setup that I think looks cool & functions well and I hope y'all take inspiration from it if you're trying to figure out how you want your own setup to look". As far as brand deals, the people complaining must be new here as I remember when I started watching years ago doing brand marketing stuff was your full time 9-5 job and the KZbin stuff was just something on the side.

Constructive criticism is good, but some companies don't want to improve their product. With that approach, they won't get very far. Some companies expect only positive reviews, but that's not how it works. Once the consumer has the product in hand, they will know if it is not good.

You pay full price for that phone or did you pay costs. “I wasn’t manipulated, I just chose to spend a 300% up-charge on a product because I willingly get bent”. I think you kind of misunderstood my point though. The rant was more so about the reality that most devices and things advertised are marketed to look good for the same. Creators doing the same thing to help the sale is no different. You just ran with the specific thing that you heard from that which wasn’t even really the point.

I agree. Creators are essentially doing advertising. You’re right I should have said I don’t agree with the term ‘manipulation’, not that I don’t agree with the rant. But I do maintain that yes I choose to pay for an expensive phone if I want to. Advertising doesn’t ’manipulate’ me. I take the information and make a decision. Not everyone is like that though. Young people are heavily manipulated by social media because they have developing minds for example. I am not sure what you mean by “willingly get bent”. Are you implying that I must be a homosexual? Not a great choice of slang.
