When I visited Jay Leno's Garage last year, my friend Chris Walters asked me if I could help him with a pressure washing solution at the facility. After us going back and forth on ideas Chris decided on a portable cart solution for the K1322TS and Cox Reel.

I think the reason the PF22 leaks when you turn it upside down is because there's an air inlet at the top where the soap gets through.

If you are selling the bottles separate now, can you find a cap that will fit those bottles and sell it as well? That way I could mix up one bottle of wash soap, but I can have a separate prepped bottle of something like wheel cleaner. That would make swapping out chemicals a lot easier for the same foam cannon.

Why don't you install a male plug inside the Cox reel where the kobrajet would connect to? This way you can QD the hose and bring it else where along with the kranzle if you wanted to. This would also save you the trouble of wrangling the hose trying to get the threads started on the reel.

You're gonna have problems pulling the hose off that reel with the point of leverage being out over the wheels. I would suggest storing the heaviest polisher you can find in the other end!
@omarvillegas7161
@omarvillegas7161 3 жыл бұрын
Please explain
@silkysixx
@silkysixx 3 жыл бұрын
@@omarvillegas7161 Kind of like how, if you don't hook it up in the right place, a parachute can pull the front wheels of a drag car off the ground. The hose reel has a moment arm about the wheels that leans beyond the wheels, meaning that a horizontal force on the reel will pull down on that end of the cart, trying to lift up the other end. On top of that, the mass of the hose itself is placing a weight on that moment arm, so the wheels on the other end are already unweighted. Being a heavy hose, the inertia will be significant when pulling on it to unroll, increasing this force. Basically, depending on how heavy the rest of the cart is, there's a mild chance of pulling the whole damn thing over when you try to take hose out. On uneven ground, I'd suggest the risk is significant.

The Kränzle 7/122 draws 7 Liters a minute @ 1400 RPM,,, i have both the 7 /122 and the 10 /122 which is 2800 RPM........ The 7/122 ( any 1400 RPM machine ) can draw water from a bucket or static water source brilliantly ( but the 2800 RPM machines cannot do it no where as good ) ... the best option for you Car detailers is the 7 / 122 as many in the Uk use the 7/122 because of its capability to take water obviously from a normal house / garden Hose and a static water source.... A 25 Liter water cannister could easily do 1 maybe 2 cars .....The pressure washer will use significantly less water than a garden hose... PLUS it can be run on a mobile electric generator much eaiser than the 10/122 all the best preispasst.de Germany
@sthochglanz
@sthochglanz 2 жыл бұрын
Great idea! Would be very interesting to see how much water out of a bucket the KRÄNZLE 7/122 needs to wash a whole car. With no hectic. Do you really think 25 liter of water will be enough? We guess this not enough because with 7 liter per minute and even a big bucket (30 Liter) you could wash the car less than 5 minutes. Best regards to you, Sarah & Timo
@fensterputzernuernberg
@fensterputzernuernberg 2 жыл бұрын
@@sthochglanz ..Timo ... the 25 liter cannister is not the point here. the point is a Kränzle 7/122 draws water from a container ( any container ) and not just from a tap .... The advantage that it can draw from a container is t that it can draw / suck SOFT WATER that has been pre filtered.... Yes if your water from the tap is soft by all means draw it from the tap ( connect pressure washer straight onto the tap ) . But i doubt your water is under 30 ppm in your area.. Spotting often occurs with black metallic paint ( do not quote me on this ) around 20- 50 ppm and upwards but it is advisable and really the wise decision to produce 000 PPm soft water The other main point is the hardness of the water in your area.. Producing soft water in hard water areas via di vessel is expensive... It is even more expensive running straight from a tap through a DIonizer vessel with hoping there will be enough water to feed any pressure washer let alone the K 7/122 ( this will eat up the resin in the di vessel quickly , the best method is to slowly run water through any di vessel ) ... If you are in a hard water area 100 % the best idea is / would be to produce your own soft water water if possible via a as an example a 40/40 Reverse osmosis system ( these systems produce the quickest amount of water for under 1000 $ more expenisve Reverse osmosis systems have multiple filters and also have specially designed pumps which force water through the filters to produce even an greater volume of water ) ... Producing water with a DI vessel in a hard water area is simply too expensive... unlesss you like to throw money in the bin and your loaded :-) .. this is why all professional window cleaning firms in Europe ( especially the UK and Holland ) in hard water areas opt for a 40 / 40 reverse osmosis system and those that are in a soft water area often opt for a double DI ( 2 Dionizer vessels in tandem ) because it is very economical and simple . Hope this helps... It was not about the 25 Liter cannister it is about sucking soft water from any type of water holding / containment vessel. Your goal should be to produce enough soft water to complete your work in a highly efficient manner. I would advise all detailers to buy a 40/40 Reverse osmosis system and make there own water a straight into their van into a let us say as an example 100 gallon tank. ( or smaller or larger )
