Admin, I think we have to order the dial. Let the date be at the 9 o'clock position. Then remove the strap and put it on the other side. The case and the hands of the watch are all used the same way. and the cost of ordering the production of dials The price is about 25-30 dollars per piece.

Right on! I did mine with a Parnis GMT. Just swapped the insert and GMT hand. Pop of orange on the part of the dial where it says "GMT". But has a problematic cheap 'gmt' movement.

Thanks for video! That even you make compatibility mistakes speaks to my biggest fear. Hard to pull trigger on buying a bunch of parts when unsure if it'll all fit. Most mod websites don't make it easy to confirm. BTW - there is no guidance what, if any, lube or grease is needed for a SRPD (your recommendation) build - can you do another video that addresses this? Thanks!

Ive used so many type of parts over the years and so I have my own record of dimensions / compatibility "rules". Its rare that I encounter a new part, but whenever I do, I try to get as much info from the provider. Unfortunately in this case the providers details werent exactly right, so there wasnt much I could do at that point haha. Its much easier these days to know what parts fit since the mod community has grown so much, but years ago I had to buy everything blind and scrap a bunch of things. Just comes down to experience!

hello, excellent videos .. and for a video of a Seiko MOD send an adiesdive cap. willard to change the dial/face to a Seiko (AliExpress) and when I pick up I see that it is not exactly centered at 12, it has a small deviation to the left, my watchmaker says that he could not adjust it anymore and that maybe I should put a face /dial with date at 4 o'clock and not at 3 o'clock. Did it happen to you or could you tell if what my watchmaker says is true, too bad I can't upload photos. Greetings from Madrid 🇪🇸

I'm sure you know about this. But you could have used a flat AR crystal and used uv glue to affix a cyclops lens. Just thought I'd mention it. I know esslinger sells the lenses. I've done several and they are perfect.

How can you place the minute hand at exactly 6 o clock?

You would use the 6 oclock marker as the center reference point for the hour, opposed to 12 when setting the minute hand. I find that some minute hands are easier to see alignment when the hour is at 6 opposed to 12.

I just don't understand why the hands are placed with the hour hand pointing right at 12 and the minutes hand at 6. Wouldn't that screw up the timing? Because normally at 12:30 the hour hand is between 12 and 1.

You used a nh36(day-date) just use a nh34 so you have a real gmt.

Second timezone can be tracked via. the bezel insert. At the time of the video, the NH34 movement was not yet released unfortunately.
