That's the great thing about setting your priorities - they're yours, not anyone else's. The desk turned out so great and with school starting very soon, is something you will most definitely need. Your couch is such a great fit too, love the colour and the scale is perfect for your room. I hope that Terra is feeling better and you're both enjoying your new home. Take good care of yourselves and be well.

Well with so many peole now-a-days trialing small spaces to live and eat out of , what you are doing seems to me to be the perfect solution. As after all the bigger the places we live in, the more junk we collect and never seems to get rid of. Hope Terra likes ity now she has a comfortable place to lie on and sleep.

Check with the park district, you may find one with a wood shop. The local wood working store could also direct you to other options. Tung oil produces an endothermic reaction, the rags have been known to combust in the trash, be carful with disposal.

1000000% agree with the important of separation of space! I used to study, eat, lounge in my bed at college and didn't realize how much it was affecting my sleep hygiene. Need my bedroom to be my peaceful sleep palace lol, not associated with stressful studying 😅 love the care you're putting into your new home, keep it up!

Not having a good space to work on projects is a pretty common thing here in Denver. I live in an apartment with no garage but I am lucky enough to have off street parking in a little parking lot and plenty of people will set up sawhorses or whatever they need in their parking space to make a temporary workspace. So if you have off street parking, even in an open lot, you could always set up a tarp/popup canopy/whatever and a folding table or something. It's obviously not ideal but it can still work. If not, you could always find some spots to park up and do the same. For example, I always see vans and cars parked alongside Cherry Creek (Cherry Creek N Dr. east of Colorado Blvd) since it's not in front of anyone's homes or apartments and has good amounts of shade and since you have the Bluetti, you wouldn't have to worry about power hookups. Plus there's a Home Depot not too far from there too! Probably plenty of other spots like that too, that's just the one that came to mind since I'm over on this side of town. Good luck and have fun!

Not wondering why you didn't start with your bed - a work space is so important! Your desk looks so good. I'm loving watching your apartment come together organically; it's so satisfying I can't explain it! Don't even worry about your channel changing content. It's a very enjoyable change.

Love the desk!! what kind of keyboard is that? I see there are no wires connected. I am having trouble with my HP mini computer and the "d" on my keyboard so considering a change. I just bought a 'trash can' Mac. I'm not sure if my hp monitor will accommodate it yet and my table is full of wires as the keyboard and speakers also have wires connected to the monitor and mini computer. Your set up looks so neat!! I am copying you by getting the Mac. I think it will be great not to have to buy a new computer all the time to update windows. Hope I did the right thing. Your place will come together before you know it. I also have a small space an constantly am changing it. good job!!
