7:53 Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Ghasts in the nether. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Ghalus Wu'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Flyers from an Imperial Fortress Blimp just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on dem ghast tears.

I didn't even know there were any other kind of piston bolts besides the diagonal ones. But then again the only piston bolts I've seen were in Mumbo Jumbo's videos where he visits the Scicraft server, and they have the diagonal ones. It blew my mind, seeing them in action, it's insane how fast they are! I definitely would like to build my own, when I get around to it lol

You may consider making a Ghast farm if you are going to need that many End Crystals. Ilmangos design produces @ 2000 tears/hour. While it may be out of date, it looks like there are several recent designs which may be comparable.

Great episode, Pix. I admit I'm beginning to suspect I'll never catch up with this series, but that's ok! Every episode so far has been entertaining. My biggest gripe with piston bolts is that there isn't enough reason in the game to construct them. They're awesome, and really give the player a sense of achievement, but why bother when Elytra exist, and when any given region in your Minecraft world is essentially exactly the same as any other? There isn't enough variation. Making world generation more variable would go a long, long way towards incentivizing the player to construct different bases or projects in different regions, which would in turn incentivize construction of piston bolts or rail lines. Minecraft needs more biomes, or perhaps more variations on existing biomes. Each individual biome could have a size tag, making them range in size from small to huge. Ores could be unevenly distributed from region to region, making separate diamond and redstone mines viable. Terrain could vary significantly, with some regions being essentially flat planes and others looking more like amplified terrain. Temperatures could vary, which impacts crop growth times or even which crops can grow at all outside of a greenhouse. Granite, andesite, and diorite could generate only in certain biomes, making travel to those biomes essential for collecting those resources. There's just so much more that could be done to encourage the player to spread out and explore.

I tend to avoid running rails over 300 or so in the overworld, mostly due to time and resources involved. That is when I make tunnels in the nether. Easier to do a 200 length rail + tunnel in the nether than 1600 in the overworld.

Very interesting. Never knew you could do that. I am interested though. If you want one going to the snow biome couldn't you just place the necessary blocks above the current area? That way the tunnel is already(at least mostly) cleared. Granted you'd have to place blocks for the redstone and rail, but you wouldn't have to dig another tunnel.
