Building a DIY cabin with friends, from start to finish

Great simple design. I love the mono-pitch roof, great kitchen layout, great little woodburning stove, cosy loft, good use of drywall - you didn't go overboard (no pun intended ;-) on the wood... And that porch! A great example of how less can be so much more. Enjoy!

If you check out some of the other videos on KZbin, or photos on our website, you can see some of the camping setups. Keep in mind that well folks may be in hammocks or tents, we had a lot of other amenities to keep things comfortable.

Beautiful project! Is there any reason why you didn't use ground screws instead of concrete for the foundations? Can't help but think this could have saved a ton of labour, money and ecological impact.
