Very nice folding table and a great idea, I’m going to shamelessly copy it into my design. One point if I may, I use electrical heat shrink plastic to cover mechanical wiring. Before crimping the eyelet down, I slide one of these tubes, crimp, and then slide the tubing both the cable and the end.

Hi James did you not consider top hinging the power pack door and adding a small stay thus having a shelf for to charge your phone or other items, not a criticism just an alternative thought, great as usual James, happy camping whenever we get back to normal stay safe.

Great ideas, I am also building a van and I am concerned about the electricity. I am very minimalist regarding my electric needs. I wonder if your van is simply going to run only with this portable battery. If so? Could you share some details and can you use it while charging? Is it compatible with any solar panel ? Thanks ! 🙏

Hi, yes the battery pack will be my only power source, but bear in mind that my van is only a holiday/weekend camper and not lived in. In answer to your questions, I don't believe the battery can be used while charging and I don't l know if every solar panel would work, but this one seems to work well, though I haven't put it through its paces yet. @@LensOfJames thanks a lot. Same here, currently building a small Ford transit Connect for weekends and holidays for summers. So yeah, the battery will be only usable for lights, MacBook, fridge and charging phone. U got all my props and cheers from Austria. I love the idea of building small vans, it totally goes against all this new fasting of hipster van life :)

I've just bought a Black out cover for the front windscreen & driver/ Passenger windows, they came back in stock today at Fuel Lagoon for NV200 & the price is very reasonable. Have a look & let me know your thoughts. Can't wait to get mine, Also I like the Novoo power generator, thanks for the video's they are a massive help
