Just to add it is ok to do an inspector will pass it, even in Florida when I first saw it it was strange, but inspector came and pass it. Keep up the great work 1kb

You should use a bolster to make your cuts or use a saw. Corner blocks should be used on the corners so you eliminate the 3/4 cuts and the last course should be semi solid or upside down and filled with grout and not type S. Hope you are using type S instead of N

are you going to insulate or waterproof the outside of that wall? with what and how to? i be watching for the next video. 12" blocks? what if i need to use 10" blocks, can i increase the thickness of the outside insulation? i like how you split that block in half, bang, bang , bang, bang, bang, pop.

Drill your hole first for the horizontal rebar then spread your bed mortar. Pointing that out only because I often got ahead of myself and spread the mortar before I did the same thing.

4ft below the frost line? I thought footings had to be be just slightly below the Frost line which is usually 48 inches below grade.

That's what the guy meant that the frontline is 4 feet so below that is where you start obviously.

You are doing a nice job.....but it seems a bit over-built....footing are very deep...block walls tall for such a small addition......seems a bit much......but overall I respect the nice, high quality work you are doing overall.

Footing has to be 4ft below fross level l, according to their code up north
