17:23 Manufactured diamond and cubic zirconia _are not_ the same thing, the mined diamond industry just wants you to think that. Cubic zirconia is its own gemstone, made of crystalline zirconium dioxide, while manufactured diamond is crystalline carbon - in other words, _chemically identical_ to mined diamond in every way save for potential contaminants and/or inclusions.
@lordjaashin3 жыл бұрын
another surprising thing is artificial diamonds are free of any inclusions and defects than their natural counter parts. aka artificial diamonds are more perfect than natural ones
@alvinseamstar8173 жыл бұрын
@@lordjaashin that would make natural diamonds more unique tho. Since manufactured diamonds are all perfect
@OhSoTiredMan3 жыл бұрын
@@alvinseamstar817 You can manufacture defects if you really wanted to.
@alvinseamstar8173 жыл бұрын
@@OhSoTiredMan then why don't manufacturers do that? One of the few ways that are able to differentiate real and manufactured diamonds are the defects. If you could mimic the defects as well there would be no way to differentiate them and the inflated "real" diamond market would crash
@smashpillow85133 жыл бұрын
@@alvinseamstar817 It's all manufactured value for a shiny stone anyways. With "lab created" diamonds, you take away the alleged "rarity" of a natural diamond, but why the hell should we care? The non natural ones are just as pretty with no defects. Plus, diamonds are mined by the ton and the waste from carving them is thrown away. That's why you can buy natural mini diamonds by the pound for cheap. In my opinion, diamonds are a scam. Then again, the only reason things have value is because it's what people are willing to pay for them. This could easily turn into an argument of exorbitance and why we as humans waste resources for seemingly worthless things, but how about we just skip that part and move on with our lives and opinions. If you agree with me, cool! If not, I don't really care what you think- so please don't waste your time trying to argue. I hate that I have to type that out every time I say something on the internet, but that's just the way things are. No offence meant to anyone. Good? Good.

Nice project - though that took a lot of time and patience! It looks like these iPhones are needlessly overcomplicated to repair and disassemble. I also wonder if 3G/4G/5G signal strength has also been impacted by that metal back...
@johnsellers49943 жыл бұрын
the back should have no affect on the 3G/4G/5G antenna if you look at the 4 corners of the iphone there is 4 non metallic strips which are there for the antennas and to allows the signals

@jcolombo1003 жыл бұрын
Different screws with different screw heads have different torx pressure. I can only assume they use Phillips around the housing because there’s more of a solid base behind it so more you can exert more force for tightening whereas more fragile components can’t have this so the tri wing head allows for less pressure and more of a ‘holding into place’ instead of tightening into place if that makes sense?
