i've had civil construction at highschool and one of the projects was to build a section of a house like this, leaving some bits with the different process of construction. It was one of the best practice classes

@@lvseka that is good th hear. we need dual courses of study and therefore dual-trained engineers. here in germany some german engineers (NOT some MERICA sh**) go from the gymnasium straight to the uni. and then ther we have the problem whith engineers without practical knowledge, german master craftsmen who are better than the engineers (except in extreme theories and calculations in the Antctic or Uranus) and the simple german craftsman
@lvseka Жыл бұрын
@@LudusArtifex Yah we had units that are more hands-on. However it's important to note that Engineers are Architects aren't meant to be builders, we are meant to be designers and to an extent project managers. Once we learn as much as possible that involves the practice, we head for internships and placements that help transfer that knowledge to the real world. Craftsman are meant to be hands-on by nature, it's important that everyone is left to handle their jobs and not compete or superimpose on each others roles.

No first world country would ever try half ass-ing like this if they dont want to get sued. I am as noob as they come when it comes to this building subject. At first i thought i might learn something but when i saw concrete being poured over styrofoam with only a single bar support running across in the middle of the house 2nd/3rd floor thats when i knew this type of half ass-ing is only made in the third world. There is so much stress in the middle of the floor with all the foot traffic, without proper support, over short time it will collapse easily

Maybe try to oil your concrete retaining walls before filling them. It makes the concrete stick less to them and makes for a smother wall. Good luck next time😊
