Sims can upgrade a toilet to be a compost toilet. Without using the compost, it will pile up and can result in a fire death.

There's also the Bombadier Beetles that you can farm in the insect homes which have a chance of setting your Sims on fire. So technically the insect home can kill your sims in multiple ways.

most of the items i get because there's a fun risk involved but the insect farm is unique in that you literally have to want to die on purpose. the hazard of "oh man how exhilarating i almost got crushed by a murphy bed" vs "oops i accidentally farmed beetle nuggets for a couple days and unintentionally made and drank three cocktails that i knew would turn me into a ghost" 💀 -i'm sure you already know this, but for anyone interested flies will only kill you if you have the "reduce and recycle" lot challenge, otherwise flies don't even appear.- one thing i will say is you are MUCH more likely to experience death by electrocution from the robotics machine than from repairing electronics. if you're doing more than tinkering (like actually trying to craft a robot) you are likely going to get zapped unless you've maxed out your robotics skill. in that same vein, i was expecting to see dr. june's weather machine since it can strike you with lightning. love the house design. i've been playing a lot of old fantasy-themed adventure games and the whole vibe of the house is giving me "don't click on anything without checking it first or else you have to restore to your last save," but with a life sim

honestly, as a finnish person, that sauna room made me laugh 😂 like that's a really odd combination of how you'd have a sauna in a home and a cabin. mainly, the fact that here you'd have to go from shower to the sauna through a hallway doesn't make sense. you'd freeze and be naked in a hallway. here, we usually have just a class door separating the sauna and shower room! 😅

Sauna being randomly just in a house is so normal here in Finland, like most bathrooms have door leading to a Sauna. Also most cottages and older houses have entire different Sauna building (usually by a lake or river) 😂😂

Build Idea : Place several of the same cheap object (say the metal chair for example) on a lot. Use the simray to transform these objects into other things. Only use the transform action ONCE on each item! You must use a certain number of each of these transformed items to build the room/lot no matter how weird the item is you get. Example : Use 2 transformed items within each room and/or for the theme of the landscaping.

I love the ghosts from the Murohy Bed death because they are literally energy vampires. They're too scared to sleep in a bed because of how they died so they can walk up to another sim and take their energy, causing them to pass out.

OKAY I JJST GOT THE BEST IDEA IVE EVER GOTTEN, hear me out, so maybe the sim that owns the house is not any occult or not even human, it’s just a dark energy, like a demon or something and it was spawned by a group a few hundred years ago, and it has the ability to lure people inside the house and it kills them in the most unexpected ways, then it wears the skins of the people who it killed and lures other people in so it does not have a specific look!

I started a brand new save today. I had big plans for it, a young couple dreaming of having a big family and a lot of animals etc. Then they BOTH DIED TO THE GOD DAMN BED CRUSHING THEM. The man died like 15mins into the game and when I finally got somewhere with the lady sim (including developing a romantic relationship with the grim reaper) she got crushed as well.
