Building a 2 TILE WIDE TOWNHOUSE | The Sims 4

So, I've given myself a little challenge today...
I want to see if I can build a 2 tile wide townhouse complete with 2 bedrooms and 2 "bathrooms"... Let's see if I can achieve this.

In tiny houses, I tend to use the short refrigerator (came w For Rent) so I can place a small appliance on top and not waste working counter space-this way I have room counter w sink!

Just in case you didn't know, those free standing showers can go on the wall inbetween the toilet and sink and everything still works!

Your 2 tile house looks like it could have been a spite house! Maybe siblings got a plot of land in inheritance but whomever was the executor of the will was dodgy and gave themselves the bigger plot and wanted to take advantage so that the other sibling "couldn't" build a home. Yet the other sibling decided to prove them wrong, built a house and possibly blocked a great view as well! These spite houses happened back before local government planning authorities, so not possible nowadays but there's so many historical examples, that might be inspo for future wacky builds!

Have you thought about making a video with packs that the sims has given away for free? (Base Game, Jungle Adventure, My First Pet Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Desert Luxe Kit, Blooming Rooms kit) I think it would be such a fun challenge for you to try! :)

I remember doing something similar to this when Snowy Escape came out. On one floor, a 2×12 apartment for a young adult student sim + garden, then a 3x12 apartment + garden next to it, and then a 4x12 apartment + garden next to that. Even included genkans in every unit. By the time I got to the 4x12 unit, it felt like I had all the space in the world to work with. You could always do a 1x3 bathroom with the shower in the middle opposite the door if you use the snowy escape/discover university shower. Perhaps not the most realistic, but it functions perfectly fine.

I just know the kids must have tried to throw a bowling ball from the entryway all the way to the courtyard at least once 🤭 I don't know how it would work with only one tile, but I'd sure love to see you try! brilliant build as usual, even if it was only two tile wide you managed to make it so airy and cozy 🥺

Loveeee this!! 😍👏🏾 FYI for the bunk issue, you have to toggle "Auto Bunk Bed" ON or OFF. One reveals the latter up against the wall and the other option turns it off. They work similar to the kitchen counters in game.

you can make a fully functional bathroom in a 3x1 space, if you put the hand basin at one end the loo at the other and a wall shower from University or Snowy escape in the midde opposite the entry door.
