Anyone who has someone in a wheelchair in their household that needs to get through a door be aware of not only the 8 foot tall width but also the threshold height. Elevate has a raised threshold you have to step over. I’m the Signature Series you can get a low profile threshold with no lip. Yes it would cost a fair bit more buts it’s ADA compliant. A door like that also does need coverage as it’s not rated against water infiltration so you should have a cover. A pergola may not do.

You shouldn't tape the bottom flange. It traps water inside. Read the Marvin instructions. Also voids the warranty.

You should have used Zip tape around the window flanges and Zip flex first under the widows. That stuff you put on didn't adhere well.
