When shaving cliffs, i whack the cliff on the edge so it goes slanted and diagonal and instead of hitting it again, i hit the cliff next to it so that it breaks that and the diagonal next to it! Sorry if that made no sense but it makes terraforming much more satisfying and it saves time too!

I wish the game had grass seeds, so when you want "grass" around your island without de-valuing your island score by using weeds or having to use design slots as she did around the lake. Also being able to put a koi (or any other small fish) in a pond or lake as shown similar in the bugs exabit of the in game museum, and imagine how cool it would be to have a rubber duck in the lake, or a pool inflatable like a lake item or something, like that idk. It would be so cute to see villagers interact in the lake with pool floaties in summer. Sorry this is a dumb comment but I've been waiting to share my opinions (emphasis on "opinions") in comment form with others with a love for the game! I doubt anyone will see this, but if you, please do give your opinions I'd love to hear you're ideas!

I tried doing some terraforming in the beginning but it was taking too long and it was frustrating, so I eventually just stopped, and the only areas that were really developed were the neighborhood and a beach area on the right. Everything on the left is completely empty (save for a small orchard down somewhat near the airport), and I always hated all of that empty space, but never had any ideas for what I could put there.
