Love how you are teaching and explaining as you go along so other's can understand what is happening because u have some persons who love to judge and criticize the house coming along nicely a step at a time the longest journey will be completed

i gave up on getting the blocks level with each other. dont even check that they're level with each other anymore. funny thing is it still looks level with the naked eye. i make sure each block is plumb and level and then plumb with the block beneath it and move on. my pride wants it perfect but my sanity is more important than my ego. those 8 inch blocks are no joke, i'm using them for the entire structure and it is not a fun process. my record is 50 in one day [by myself]... i watched this channel and other videos before i started and thought this was gonna be easy. was dead wrong.

Here, we use 8 inch for foundation and ground floor walls if we going up a next level. Main difference between what you guys do is we use ground beams 95% of the time. But rebar in every other block.

So when you finish the wall do you "splash then render" which is the finish coat. I always get this confused they built my house in Westmoreland in 1992. It's block with deck roof.
@paynefuldiy
@paynefuldiy 5 ай бұрын
The flashing goes on first the make sure that the wall is plumb and straight and the render to make it smooth so water cant soak the walls
