you have such a good eye for placement and layout, and creativity, all of which i struggle with xD I would love if you made a video explaining in depth the thought process and order in how you do things when making a habitat and zoo entrance and connecting them, like why you choose to make certain path layouts and sizes for each area and if it differs, how how you like to space out habitats and hide staff areas, rock/plant placement, it seems like you like to place grasses and stuff in/around the rocks on the ground. ( which looks really nice and natural btw ) how you make view points and the kinds of details you like to add to make them look nice, what you like to do to fill in extra space, ect. would make for a really interesting and educational video haha i'm sure it would help a lot of people :0

If you want an exhibit animal that fits the cold weather/North American theme, we have bullfrogs all the we up here in the frozen Northern US/Southern Canada border. They are surprisingly cold resistant.

Watching you build enclosures is actually more entertaining than when I do it myself 😂 I noticed that you are very skilled and quick with the placement and inclanations of objects ( for exemple barriers and logs etc). Another EXCELLENT habitat. Love your videos. I'm wondering if the raccoons can actually get into their shelter. I had a similar problem where it showed the area inside was accessible but the opening was too small. The traversable area didn't actually show a path to inside. Did you remove the climbing log into the window maybe?

THe only thing I did was make a raw sketch of the zoo and where I want habitats to be and when I start a habitat I try to find some inspiration online :)

I figured this would be a good place to ask. I really like the look of this game, but don't think I can afford Ultimate edition with all the DLC and packs. Is the base game/deluxe version still worth it?

I had lots of fun with base game and deluxe version alone before packs came out :) so yes I think its worth it :) Also make sure to check out my instant gaming link in the description as you get a really good discount on the base game and all the packs :)

This reply is a bit late but there are amazing mods with animals etc out there too! So even if you don’t want to get any DLCs, you could look at some mods for new animals :) i know there’s a whole African Animals mod pack for example that has like 30 animals or something like that :)
