Agreed! I hav3 a family of raccoons that live about 3 stories up a tree! If you shine a flash light up in the Nook late at night you can see their eyes shining back. Super cute but they can climb!

Raccoons are excellent climbers! They sometimes overestimate their ability to escape from things they successfully climbed though - see Raccoon stuck in the trashbin for example 😂

Growing up with raccoons with a friend that had one as a pet. Can say that enclosure would not hold a raccoon in IRL. They are intelligent, agile, and expert escape artists. they are one few animals that have paws and a thumb . Very awesome animals truthfully.

Looking forward to this series! What a great zoo to revisit the Arctic and North America packs - I think the Europe pack animals would fit in quite well here too. Would love to see a habitat for the new red deer!

Funny you mention! As this zoo is going to be only 8 animals big (very mini winter series, haha) I actually dont even have any arctic pack animal planned, lol.. few base game, european and north america pack animals if I am correct ❤️

When you were building that cabin/hut, it made me think of a "End of the world" type scenario. Not sure why. But now I want to see a "Zoo" in a style where it's all nature and only a few ppl helping the animals thrive. That'd be a sandbox project of course. Could be interesting to do if I had the time.

3m for a racoon.. Racoon's climb trees! They can definitely climb over 3m.... I love racoons. My great-grandfather kept them as pets, way before my time. My dad also tried when he was older but learned they had sense become illegal. We call racoon's "Trash Pandas" in America. You can find them in trash cans, street sewer drains, trees, under houses and porches, and in attics. They are the most adorable nuisance we have!

3 meters can sound like a lot for racoons but I swear they are such good climbers 😂 one was able to climb my 5 foot wooden fence that had absolutely nothing for it To grab on and help climb 😂 I was also surprised of the size of racoons in game, they seem little To me! I love the small little details you put in the habitat. You should name your habitats so if you click on a guest it says 'Going to Racoon' insted of habitat 3 so u know what habitat it is when you have more habitats.

Yeah, I LOVE racoons. They are vicious m*****f*****s but THEY CUTE! I loved watching the family of coons in the rafters while I operated a wooden coaster back in the day.

I never understand the everything work zone in your zoos. I have a decent sized franchise now and I don't use work zones at all. It totally works. Although I do see the point of making smaller zones for like a hoofstock area with one shared keeper hut and staff room for the keepers (and this way you can have less keepers than habitats in a zone, and they can usually manage to do everything just fine) but for mechanics and vets etc. I think they do better if theres no work zones. This way you cannot forget to add new buildings and stuff to the everything zone, as you don't have one :D BTW I love that litlle hut for your racoons. I totally need to buy the twilight pack when I get to play again (I had to delete the game so I do not play 24/7 and actually focus on my studies and get my degree in biology) Until then I'm watching every PZ video I can, including your amazing mini zoo franchise series. I love them, a usually play franchise too.

Well you probably didnt play the game in the beginning where you just failed franchise mode if you didnt make workzones :) animals dying and staff not knowing what the do, so yeah.. every since I am just used of making workzones. I think they maybe changed it later because some people just didnt understand they HAD to make workzones in order to make everything work and they kept failing and blamed frontier for their broken game.. lol.. so yeah.. im just used of making workzones like this since the start :)
