@@GCMRacing1 However, my dad would take exception about pipe bending not being an exact science. Ha. An automotive engineer/designer I have seen him employ all kinds of tables, formulas, and calculations to CAD that stuff for the shop boys (getting it right, down to like a thousandth of inch). 😁

this is great work and very detailed. the only thing that would improve the look is the radius of the bends are a bit big looking.if the bends were smaller it would look REALLYscale

Thanks! Agree.. more small radius bends would be more scale, although it would become a slightly kinked tube if they got too much smaller. I have done a few of these with a 3/8 rad instead of 3/4 rad, and it was really sketchy to get them to stay round.. but does look better!

Great video. Highly informative. I have a cage on my Skelton jk body but its to bulky and I would like to design something like you have but where I can have a cage and still put the top back on. I will work on that using your technic. Thank you. Also, has one used a 2 door jk and made a truck body or do you use a 4 door unlimited body??

Go for it! for the pickup 2dr, I used a 4dr body, and then modified from there.
