The room looks absolutely amazing, and I can imagine once you've got all the lego on display the room will just be spectacular.. A magical place for a majestic world. Although I wouldn't rush! Take your time and savour this experience. Brilliant idea with the lighting, I love Govee products, and you could link both sets together in the app and create a scene, the idea of creating atmosphere with the use of lighting is clever, which you can change to suit the style and mood your looking for. Plus the kids will love it as they grow older, I know mine have after seeing my lights in the lounge, they now both have a set in their rooms. You have both worked extremely hard on this project, long hours and this is all whilst managing a new born and the pressures of everyday family life, so I think you need to grab a coffee, take a step back and both be extremely proud of what you are achieving. 💛Absolutely brilliant.

Since the Lego table is fairly small, try to place the tallest builds in the back and work your way with smaller builds towards the front of the table to create a sort of skyline effect, and so that everything can be seen from the front view when live streaming.

Ye I absolutely agree with this Sella!! 😋 Wouldn't want any of the fantastic smaller sets to be blocked out!

Very cool and love the top down and bottom up lights - great idea. If you are going to do a city and have limited on space, I'd consider having and " underground section for trains / caves / whatever. Even if just building another wooden base on top of what you've got.... just to give you a bit more "space".

Thanks so much Matt! 😊 Aaaah yes... there WILL be an underground section... but its gonna be called something else 👀

I love your room. It looks amazing. The lights are especially super cool. Will you keep your backlog in the room with you?
@bonniebricks3 ай бұрын
Thanks so much Nicole! 🤗 Ye I think they're so much fun with the different scenery settings you can enable hehe! Yes I will indeed keep the backlog in here under the table - however the plan is to get through it and have everything displayed. If its not getting displayed its not getting built. If its not getting built it will find a new home x

Hello Bonnie 😊 start small. Work with what space you got go big if got the opportunity to do so Manny got lots of Lego but not much space. Some got lots of space but less Lego Manny have to live with others an got less space .😊 .how long you been into Lego for ..for me 10 years plus when I was a kid. In. 80 s .I only have a office size build room and Lego City take up a hole liveing. Room .but can not go Anny biger. Fumming. But in the amount of space for my city I just be creative an work with what space I got. If people see my city. Thay like wow. That's the most. Lego thay ever seen lol 😆 that not including. My build room .😊 Good luck on .filling it with Lego an Lego parts ..for me I not really into desplay set s but got some. It seems thousands of people s sints lock down s gone nuts on Lego an just got set s sitting on shelf. But that's a little boarding to me. A Lego City is way more fun an creative an interactive an stuff moving. Like Lego trains and lighting to carnival s stuff to .cars truck s on roads an council worker s. Seen s before adding a building or moduler. Enjoy. Good luck with it all. You can follow me at. KZbin. Counts bricks build craze or on. Instagram. Countra bricks build. Raze. Face book Shane Hart 😊.👍👍

Yes absolutely agree with you on this! I'm going to almost map out my sets before adding them more permanently into the Lego world as it'll make it more difficult to change things around later other wise. I only got into LEGO in July 2022 so am still a relative newbie to the hobby! 😊 Oh wow, you're a total Lego veteran then ha!! I'm very intrigued to see your City now hehe!! Ye I think you're right - gonna be fun to have a train going round the World soon - I hope! 🤪 Added you on Insta my friend !
