Building a Lenticular Round Shield

Hey, I came across this video while looking for a way to make a historical aspis, do you think the way to make a lenticular shield would be suitable for opening a Greek shield? btw great video

Hi, I'm not sure it would, unfortunately, as you need a much greater curve. I'd try forming lots of half thickness 'pie' sections (seperate mould for front and back pieces) and then laminating them together with a 50% overlap.
