Follow my way of social distancing by building a tiny pallet cabin on an OffGrid permaculture property. I started from scratch and used 99% used pallet and scratch material collected for free. Watch my first steps on the property building as well as the first gardening and getting the pallet cabin outside walls and the floor done.
What I want to show is that everyone, where he lives, has the opportunity to get into that lifestyle. I am a big fan of channels like @ShawnJamesMySelfReliance but I didn't have the possibility to build a log cabin deep in the woods due to the place I live and my personal circumstances. But I tried what is possible for me and found a good way to get near to that which I call "cabin life". Let's say my goal is "My Self Reliance for anyone".
Note: I am not a pro gardener or carpenter, even I have some experience throughout my life. I am always in a learning process and want to gain more experience by doing. This is not a HowTo channel. It's only documenting my way of getting in balance with my tech & city life. If you want to learn also from my failures this is the right channel for you.
Follow my way of social distancing during this crazy time by building a tiny pallet cabin on an off-grid permaculture property. I started from scratch and used 99% of used pallets and scratch material. Watch my first steps on the property building as well as the first experimental gardening and getting the pallet cabin step by step done.
All materials and nearly all tools are collected for free by using craigslist (eBay Kleinanzeigen). For the garden, I used only natural self-made fertilizer out of nettles and also some horse manure. In the future, I will get more garden beds as soon as I know exactly what grows in the forest property and what is not possible.
Thank you for watching my videos and feel free to support my channel by subscribing (with bell notification), clicking thumbs up or down, and commenting. I am open to your tips and tricks as well as your questions. I am planning to upload new content every Friday and I hope that I will succeed it.
Follow me for more frequent updates and more details on Instagram - / outdooraddict1979
Since I receive a lot of questions about the tools and gear I use and I can recommend I decided to maintain an Amazon Store Front with List for specific usage.
For USA:
www.amazon.com...
For Spain:
www.amazon.es/...
For Germany:
www.amazon.de/...
More countries will follow.
Note: I will receive a small commission if you buy products via these Amazon links. You will not pay more than you would without using my links. This commission supports the channel and enables me to make more videos.

I love how most of the material he uses is free material. Pallets, nails etc. Things are coming along nicely, structurally sound, costing him basically nothing. A definite meat eater. Lots of healthy herbs and who doesn't appreciate a good cigar after a hard days work. I'm center of a huge city. I'm envious.

Well built and additions constantly being made. This is what being a free man is all about. I'm envious. This cottage has the possibility of being whatever this man wants it to be. No time schedule to get it done.

I love it. A man up the road built a one bedroom house with pallets and recycled and donated materials. Beautiful house near the lake. Had to sell it during covid-19, but for a huge amount of money.

Dude, I have a rule: Once someone shows a close-up of a Snail or a Slug, I quickly scroll down until I can't see that horrifying creature anymore; I post a scathing commentary and then I never watch ANYTHING that person posts ever again. It is made out of Nettles. It make fertile soil, and is a ‘dynamic accumulator’ that supports the soil with minerals, including nitrogen (N), silicon (Si) and iron (Fe). Rotted down in rainwater makes a nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer and a natural repellent against lots of critters.
