Great podcast and great talk about ethical hunting and I absolutely love the quote- "We shouldn't be pushing the boundaries in field, we should be pushing boundaries on the range".. I have seen a few KZbin videos like Eric Cortina who brings in random ppl to test their system and shooting on a 500yard target, great awareness into ethics and knowing your abilities. I know your a very busy man, however I found getting into reloading gets you shooting more, testing more and as you dive deeper, a better understanding of the ammunition as a whole. Can't wait to listen to more.

If you don't shoot out a barrel every year from practice, most people have no business shooting over 500 yards at game. Just my opinion from seeing lost and wounded game from "Snipers" with $6000 hunting platforms that they run 4 boxes of ammo through a month before hunting season. For $2k you can have a rig that most any hunter can shoot 400 yards consistently with a good amount of practice. Its going to cost you $1k for every 100 yards beyond that.
