I suggest you add a coat of marine poly to the complete outside. Regular poly will eventually crack and peel off. You might also consider adding drip rails to the ends of the roof for better protectin. Beautiful job!

The only thing I am personally missing here, is a little hook inside to hang clothes and a ladder on the outside, detachable, to ease acess to the camper, as not to jump everytime on the truck bed. But what an amazing build that is. Well done.

That came out so awesome. My only criticism is I would have extended it out to the length of the tailgate when down. The extra couple of feet of length gained would been well worth it.

I was thinking, it could be cool to have a fold down counter on the outside under each window, for various purposes. Maybe even a little fold down table on the inside of your upper hatch of your door or at least a stashable little folding table, for your laptop. It will be fun to see what piece of land you end up getting & what you will do on it. It would be cool if it had an old fixer upper cabin on it, would make for great ongoing content.

You are making my day with your 2nd awesome project, as I have a crew cab Frontier with the 5ft box. My head-scratching is over! One change I have considered is putting the floor plan out over the tailgate, and saving a little width to get my 7ft. I’m 59 tomorrow, and you are an inspiration to all ages in a generation that can’t get out of bed until dinner, nor will use more than 2% of their God-given brain mass. Your Paul Bunyan engineering skills are impressive, and your corny jokes help add some flair and a few “Doh!” moments. Thank you, young man, for your hard work and wisdom!! Well done!! Oh, and you still can’t surf in Wyoming. I tried once on a sand dune near Rock Springs - it wasn’t the fall that hurt, it was the the sudden stop . . .

I would have added some 1/2” foam board in the walls/ceiling and lined it with Tyvec for a vapor barrier. Would make for a much more comfortable living space inside. I guess your spar varnished wood would do ok, but belt and suspenders, I’d say.

Double Dutch doors originated in the Netherlands in the 17th century. They were used in the farmlands and were designed to keep animals out, children inside and let in fresh air and natural light. Eventually Dutch settlers brought the style to the U.S. I'm Dutch and never heard of those doors and went to Google it out of interest. I leave it here for anyone that's interested.

I was thinking that too, but then it occurred to me that perhaps he is in college, or there is the time it takes to do a build, he likes to show the time lapse completed project, do high quality editing and detailed descriptive narration, rather than be rushed & sloppy as so many you tubers can be when on a deadline. He did get over 8 Million Views on just one part of his Tiny Home Build Time Lapse. He said the ad revenue paid for his Tiny Home's full cost. It looks like he has the formula figured out. Smart, quality, interesting, funny, refreshingly so.
