After watching, you still realize it's 400000$ overpriced......Mate you can buy a nice apartment with the same features on a beach for that money....And the difference is huge - the apartment will keep it's price or go up. The vehicle will only loose value as time passes......

@@cl1cka I tend to agree with you. The people who can afford these don't care about the fact that it's overpriced as they have that in loose change. I think the fact that you can have mobile wealth may appeal to them as they can show it off in multiple locations. 😉

@E M Is it really? You get a luxury home on wheels. So you naturally have to expect a premium pricetag. Isn´t for everyone but for those with the money to enjoy. Even so i think its a niche in a niche market as the ultra rich might just go for 2million+ motor homes the size of a semi truck with trailer even so the ability to go through uneven terrain goes completely. This here costs a fraction, comes with all luxury and even allows you to explore without relying on paved roads.

@hankerma8041 2 жыл бұрын

@240devil1
@240devil1 2 жыл бұрын
@@snakeplissken1754 It is. There’s not much luxury about this. It isn’t ground breaking or lucrative. The only thing you got right about this is that it’s for the rich. And that’s fine. Go with what you can afford. But it isn’t that luxurious and it is most certainly a niche of a niche. The truck itself is way too too heavy to take on many true off road trails. It’s way too tall and would get mangled on small trails in the woods. It’s too heavy to go off-roading in much sand honestly. Like they are trying so hard to sell you this that you can get from a converted van for under $7k lol. I converted my half ton Ford with a topper into a roamer with a swing out tail gate instead of a flip up and I was able to have an awning, outdoor kitchen, storage, outdoor toilet and solar shower and I could run it through almost any mud hole I wanted to without worrying about getting stuck or tipping over. Again…this is fine if you are super rich and wanting everyone to know you have money…but it is still greatly overpriced. You can buy a Ford F550 bus with under 100k miles and convert it into a more stable mobile house for under $70k lol.

That's literally a land yacht. Most of the interior is top-notch marine hardware. The latches, the bathroom, and every square inch has a purpose. I don't know if it's worth $700k, but it is damn impressive and would make a great bug-out vehicle for the rich.

That says quality build to me but it also says healthy profit margin. A margin that could be pared back to lower the price some. Not much incentive to do that if rich people are going to keep shelling out the asking price without hesitation. You're paying for the custom fabrication and engineering that went into this build. I'll agree I believe the price tag is a little steep at $700,00 it seems to me a $350,00-$400,000 price tag would leave them with profit but not until they recouped their initial investment. If the demand was higher and they weren't practically one off builds the price would come down substantially. $700,000 my ass would be in a nice ass boat but that's just me.

@@X410zee this build if you had the fabrication skills could be accomplished for less than $200k all day long. The truck itself would set you back at most $100k leaving you with $100k to spend on the interior. Outside the engineering aspect I doubt they're spending much more than $150k to build not counting their man hours which is probably a few hundred hours per unit. Let's call it a 1000 man hours with 5 guys making $30 an hour that's an additional $150k. So $300k would easily leave them with $50k-$75k in profit.

Can't count the number of so-called luxury off road rigs I've looked at only to find that the maker was basically the fastest machine operator at the cheese processing plant who went into the van business. So with skepticism, clicked on this review. Wow. This not only way exceeds expectations, it also seems a relative bargain. Very well thought out and functional. No silly gimmick stuff to suck one in...it's onvious that their engineers consulted with their target market and built on this. The quality of materials wraps everything in beautiful - not trendy - design that will hold to timeless well. Simply blown away. Would personally have expected a starting price at 9+ with an 'as bespoke' final just north of 1mm. 300 grand plus or minus on the ask should make every buyer feel a fair deal was made. I love companies like this. What a fine offerring.

What an amazing vehicle, I just love how the 'wall eats the dirt' what a great touch that is. Two suggestions for Earthroamer, Nate shouldn't have to download a spirit level app to check if the vehicle has been adjusted to be totally level. This type of vehicle with the functionality it has should have a built-in spirit level device in the driver's cabin. I suspect it may already have it only Nate was unaware it it. Second suggestion, some how make the solar panels lift upwards and outwards, so standing vertically, forming a privacy screen for people who want to sunbath on the roof. Imagine it, a private mobile roof terrace in a beauty spot.

A decent profit ($100k) is one thing excessive profit ($400k) and greed are another. If you can afford this rig, then you can also afford to never use the kitchen, if you so choose.

I also travel with emergency instant coffee. It’s called Mount Hagen instant coffee, organic, fair trade. Kara should try it

The Nescafe Gold was a coffee-pro-KZbinr's choice out of over a hundred that he taste-tested and I accidentally tried it the other day...I have to say, it's THE closest brand that I've had that comes close to REAL coffee (sorry Kara, but that Folgers crud is HORRIBLE! My boss loves it though, drinks it a few times a day...ewww).

That is absolutely amazing. Way outside of anything I'll ever be able to afford, but it was nice to live vicariously through you in the video. :)

They should definitely let you make commercials for them, great job! I would go with this over a Travato if I won the lottery.

So im using my kids account so hear me out. I've been watching since after the pandemic started and I started at episode one and have watched all the way through. You both have taught me sooo much. I am now a sushi addict (thanks to Kara) and I feel like I've lived through you both. Watching you grow and explore has brought me so much happiness. I appreciate you both so much!! Thank you for getting me to try new foods, discover amazing places, and learned to find happiness in the small things. Love to you both🖤
