The subscriber to quality ratio of this channel is absolutely bonkers. I'm not a woodworker (yet), but this is obviously/easily in the top ten woodworking channels on KZbin. Also, this cabinet is absolutely incredible. Great work.

Just great. Modern woodworking using both hand tools and machines. No irritating music either. This channel deserves more subscribers.

Wow. This cabinet is amazing! The only way it could possibly be any more perfect is if it was all done in metric units (joke). I can tell you really put a lot of thought into this and planned (and planed) very well. I love the idea of that concealed magnetic catch.

Absolutely love it. Looks great. I don’t know why, but currently I have a wall cabinet fetish. They all serve the same function but can look so different as well. Well done. What oil/wax did you use?
@TimberBiscuitWoodworks Жыл бұрын
Haha, if it makes you feel any better, I do too! This was mix of a few pentrating oils I had in the shop mixed together, so I don't have an exact finish per se.

Nice video, do you find that when you re-sawed the back panels that the boards cupped? I have that issue a lot
@TimberBiscuitWoodworks Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Not really, as long as I have the boards acclimated to the shop they stay relatively flat. The key is to buy lumber you know is fully dried and that comes down to a good supplier.

Great video! Can anyone tell me why the cherry looks almost orange? When I used cherry wood, it was closer to oak color.
@TimberBiscuitWoodworks9 ай бұрын
Thank you! Cherry tends to look a lot more orange or salmon colored when it is freshly planed. Over time, from oxidation and exposure to UV light it will darken up quite a bit.
@mruganksalunke10019 ай бұрын
@@TimberBiscuitWoodworksThanks for that information! I am still new to woodworking. It made me doubt whether I actually had cherry or not.

Can you clarify a little more about how you got the offset in your doors?
@TimberBiscuitWoodworks5 ай бұрын
I really just test fit then hand plane back for the door. I aim to try to make the door about 1/32 inch all the way around.

I'm so confused as to why, if you have a CNC to make a template, did you not at the very least use a flush trim bit and said template to trim that curve.
@TimberBiscuitWoodworks Жыл бұрын
Sometimes that’s a lot more work than just doing it. This is one of those times.
