That's a cool depth of field effect in the intro. That village is gorgeous, man. I especially like some of those roofs, but I 'd really be interested in seeing how to do gardens and courtyards and such around castles.

Oh same 100% cause I'm not very good at gardens in general. Or like squares in town centers. Something always seems to be missing when I do them

😆 Agreed! Overall I really love and adore it but there is some advise I'd like fo say out loud so: 🎨Color: Your colorpalet is a bit grey-ish and I personally think that colorfull blocks in use make a build so much more interesting and unique. 🎯Trees Height: So you got those villages right and in between a few buildings you got these nice trees poking out which I totally love but I think it would look great to see those trees HIGHER (and maybe bigger I don't but its not needed if u dont have the space) and so I advise u to make around 5 HIGHER CUSTOM trees and copy paste them in those spots But do keep in mind I'm being EXTREMELY kritical since your builds are amazing already! Pls continue this serie btw. And if u see this I wish u a wonderfully day

Dude ! Firstly let me apologise for keeping on about where are the tutorials, you’ve clearly been very busy. That being said without swearing man it’s so good. The details. The colour choices. The buildings. It’s amazing. Speaking for me I’d love to get a crack at building this and if it’s even half as good as yours I’d be so proud. Thanks for all the work you have put in and I’m in 200%.

Sometimes I feel like I live for Minecraft tutorials, so who am I to say no to this? Anyways, this town looks marvellous and I can't wait to see you build it! Oftentimes, when looking only at the finished build, it is hard to make out all the small and exciting details that come together to make it a whole, so I am super stoked for this series. Tutorials are always helpful. I for one would like to see how to do custom trees cause I suck at it lol. Hopefully people want to see these tutorials cause I would like to see them. A lot of the stuff in the video is exactly what I'd like to put in my world right now. Especially the farmland cause I'm going for a medieval style I've never done before. So it would be nice to have a few ideas to work with

I personally much prefer tutorials that go more into the theory and process of how somebody got somewhere rather than simply acting as something I could copy into my own world. I wouldn't just copy a tutorial block for block and call it a day, for any tutorial I really pay attention to the atmopshere the builder is going for, the colour palettes, the unique shapes and landscaping to sell that atmosphere. This small glimpse has me really excited, because honestly your ability to make a space feel alive and interesting is better than any builder i've seen before. With all due respect, your builds (as in houses and similar structures) are relatively simple and not choc-a-bloc with details, which shows me that you put more emphasis on how the builds all combine into one living space that has a brilliant atmosphere, something I need to consider more in my own worlds. What i'm realising now is that I spend so much time working on each individual house that I never end up making a real community or landscape, and as such the task is rather daunting. But from the looks of things, this tutorial series you are planning ticks all the boxes for me, and I can see myself learning so much with regards to that worldbuilding you effectively convey in your worlds. For me, watching the process of you going from a flat space to this would be immensely enjoyable and something I could genuinely learn a lot from, and I hope you pursue it :)

that's what i love about people like Bdubs, i don't want too many channels of amazing builders, and even fewer go into detail on why stuff looks good, but with Bdubs it feels like every time i finish a video of his i just feel inspired and learn something more than a block-by-block tutorial would have taught watching a video about some color palette theory or golden ratio of blocks, that's far more appealing than "this is a build i made, here's how to 100% recreate it", if i'm only recreating it and not learning how it looks good, i'll end up with a world of mashed together styles from numerous youtubers and just look tacky at best and entirely disorganized at worst, even though *individually* every build is amazing

Tutorials are awesome if they can be built in survival realistically. Meaning, the resources are not out of control. I built your first castle series in 100% survival, beacon, Efficiency 5, and it was a LOT of grinding, HUGE holes to bedrock (1.14 back then). You are awesome, keep it up! By the way, amazing builds, can't wait!!
@leestones4312

If you are doing it in survival, 100 percent you need to do end asap, get elytra and shulkers, and build as many farms as possible, ie cobble gens etc. Try watching some hermitcraft, they can build auto farms for almost any resource, and their builds are huge, all done in vanilla survival
@jason13jason93
@jason13jason93 2 жыл бұрын
@@leestones4312 agreed....BUT there is a reason they are on HermitCraft and I am not. Hopefully my initial comment wasn't taken as negative as I am a huge huge huge Nerd fan, but I noticed smaller survival "starter" house tutorials always have a lot of views. I found and subscribed for the big projects, harbor series, etc.

You should definitely make tutorials of these builds. I love the bigger builds especially - the castles, the walls, the bridges, the shops, the barns, the churches, and the grounds (a general Victorian garden layout and props tutorial would be nice). I’d use vanilla textures / shaders for the tutorials, just because that would reach a broader audience (not everyone knows how to install mods). If this wasn’t made using a block mod pack, then you are an absolute master of texture and form, and I salute you! 07

A tutorial would be amazing! There are loads of structures and decorative techniques I would love to adopt into my world. Im sure anywhere something doesn't fit in a simple block change will help it fit my own style. Currently there is a lot of bronze and deepslate in my village, and many of the og houses havent even been removed or adapted yet. Maybe I can do some blending and make a couple of ruins, make it look like it is old and some of the new buildings "robbed" some materials from the old ones. Thats a common medieval practice, well common over all time really. I have some of your structures there already, and love that this video and the thought of following your tutorial gave me some new ideas .

I’ve always used your tutorials, first as straight copies (my first ever build was your sailing ship) and then as pure inspiration for my own builds. Combined with ideas from other builders and different styles I’ve crafted my own world that I love to walk around! That being said, I’ve always admired the tightness of your streets and the way everything flows together so would love to start a whole new world following your tutorials as a way of learning how to create a homogeneous town that feels cohesive. I’m a pure creative builder (survival holds no interest for me) so I’d say a definite yes to a new tutorial series! Plus the more regency style of these builds is very intriguing. Keep it up buddy, breathtaking work as always!

Amazing build as usual bluenerd. If your gonna make this a tutorial series (which I really really hope you do). Can u show the exact coordinates u will build each build please. Similar to how u did with the old docks series :)

First of all I’d like to say that I love this map and I’m super exited for you to make another big tutorial and I can’t wait to build it with you! Also I love the way you make tutorials that it is nice and slow and not as fast paced as other KZbinrs! Second I’d like you to know a bit about the new seed generation for both Bedrock and Java edition, cause now the seeds are mostly the seem between the both but it’s not block perfect, so I’d love it if you’d take that into consideration when making your tutorials like when starting with the first block also saying the exact coords for Java players but also the general starting area for bedrock players! Anyway good luck with making the tutorial series if you decide to make it! :)
