Two mini tips: 1) Turtle eggs only hatch on sand...so yes, it was something you did 2) Sponges dry instantly when placed in the Nether. Idk if running back and forth to your portal would've been faster, but....there you have it.

Did you figure out, Welcomin, that baby villagers need two blocks above the bed to jump on? (That means you need to dig out a three high area for breeders - one for the bed, and two for "jump space".) Enjoyed the video.

i cant really tell about your breeder setup, but kids need 3 blocks tall to spawn, cause they jump on the beds, they may spawn sometimes, but it cuts alot if they dont have the space

To breed the villagers you need 3 blocks of height in the area were they farm the crops, hope it's usefull.

I think the villagers you got in the entire chunk are taking the beds of your breeder. You have to be like 100 blocks away from a village or put more beds (more than the number of villagers you got in the area)
