Building a MK7 GTI in 2 Days to Surprise Anthony! // BMP Tuning

Anthony, the man in charge of all your packages, and in charge of assembling all the BMP Tuning Illuminator Series lights was in need of a vehicle upgrade! We decided we wanted to help him get into a Tornado Red 2-door MK7 GTI instead of his 2001 Passat wagon, so with the help of a lot of great manufacturers we spent this whole past weekend building him the perfect IS38 DSG MK7 GTI to surprise him with as a new and improved daily driver! Enjoy this video of the entire BMP team building this GTI in secret for the ultimate Monday morning surprise!

other than Coilovers and sway bar, anything else you recommend to make suspension stronger?

Suspension upgrades that in my opinion make the largest difference would be coilovers/rear sway/endlinks and then I would focus on something like dogbone/motor mounts to help put the power down. Loads to do though, tons of fun to be had haha!

Because the point of the vehicle is to be reliable for Anthony, Stoptechs that need rebuilding arent reliable but new PP brakes from the MK8 are not only an upgrade over what this car had stock, but also had around 100 miles on them :P

Why downgrade the front brake on the mk7 gti from stoptech to stock ish?.

The StopTech BBK needed a refresh/pads and it made more sense to give him my MK8 brakes (MK7 LP same same) with 1k or so miles on them - the point of this was longevity/daily/etc.
