No worries! The car was still on 93 at this time!

034 offers both a stage 1 file for 91/93, as well as a file for E85. They are not flex fuel tunes, so whichever one you flash, will be the fuel required for it! There are no hardware requirements for either stage 1 tune!

There are no LED bulbs - these are sealed beam LEDs meaning that the projector is a sealed unit, much like OEM LEDs are!

@@andrewsolages3837 If the LED itself fails, you will need to remove the light to repair, however there are other replaceable components which can cause LEDs to not illuminate, such as the warning cancellers, which are easily replaced with the lights still installed! The LEDs are meant to last a long time, things can fail, and have in the past, we certainly can't deny the possibility, but we've sold hundreds of these lights for various models, and they have been proven to be very reliable! We also test every set prior to shipping!

Installation wise, the Racingline bushing is a bit more difficult to press in - and some have concerns about the aluminum subframes on some models when doing so. But, Racingline does list it as compatible with these subframes, so it is unlikely you'd have an issue if you have one! The Unitronic bushings are super easy to install once the OEM is removed, and if you want to swap it out and put stiffer bushings in later, it is much easier to do so! Our tech Ryan has used both - I think overall he was much more pleased with the Unitronic, and we have since installed them on many customers cars!

When closed, exhaust valves will route the exhaust gas through a quieter, muffled section of the exhaust. Upon opening, they usually allow a less restricted, and less muffled path for the exhaust. Most systems open/close dynamically from the factory, or when you change the drive mode into modes such as 'sport' or 'track'. While Milltek offers a valved version too, this particular variant of the Milltek exhaust does not utilize this valve, however the valved section is also available separately, and super easy to swap out if you change your mind! This customer actually came back to have it installed, only the center tip and connected pipe needs to be removed, the rest of the exhaust is unchanged! another note: some aftermarket exhausts also replace the valve with their own - which allows you to control it via a remote or app on your phone, that is not the case with this one though!

Yes you can, however the dealer can still see how many times the ECU was flashed, which will still flag in the system if they plug it in and scan it. Some service departments understand this, and will work with you to avoid it! However, they also usually request that you bring it in stock, for liability reasons!

On this particular exhaust, since it is for the Golf R, it simply uses the factory valves, so they would function just like stock, with a different/louder exhaust note. Some folks like to delete the valves and run it loud all the time - there aren't really any performance benefits unless you are having issues with them already. On exhausts for vehicles without valves (and even some WITH factory valves), like the GTI, these valves are usually controlled by a remote key fob. Some are even more advanced, like the Xforce Varex system, which includes a controller that lets you use your phone, as well as GPS data to open/close automatically in certain locations, RPM, speed, etc! No question is too stupid to ask! We are happy to help! Just let us know what you need!

It would be wise to recalibrate any system after service or modification, however we did not have any issues with this car, and have driven it all over the south with no hiccups! We did get the car an alignment afterwards!

Hard to answer! For those that put lots of milage on their cars - keeping the factory warranty can be an important cost saver (or at least peace of mind), and an intake will usually not cause any issues on this platform, so you only receive the benefit of more intake noise, etc! If you aren't worried about the warranty (as these have been proven to be very reliable, well built engines), then a tune will absolutely give you way more benefits, including more power, responsiveness, fuel milage, etc! For us - an intake is usually on the car as soon as it gets home from the dealership! Tuning may happen right away as well, but typically we know we want to go stage 2 or above, so we may wait until we install supporting mods for that. With Unitronic, you can actually purchase stage 2 with a flash cable, flash stage 2 onto the car, and then flash back down to stage 1 if desired! As of today (10/7/2024), Unitronic is having their Boost Season sale, which is on their software, so now may be the perfect time for you to go for it! Just keep in mind, with tuning, you may need an upgraded clutch or transmission tune to match!

What do I do before performance modding it to be built to manage another 100-200hp in the future RELIABILITY? What mods should I avoid for a daily car build? what stage 2/3 clutch would you recommend? I need to talk a shops ear off... where abouts are you located?

@@jacksong5896 We are located in Dallas Texas! Stop in anytime! Make sure you change all filters and fluids regularly, with approved parts. Timing parts, water pump, and replacing plastic coolant housings/flanges can also be good preventative maintenance! Certain engines may have specific parts that can fail, so you'll have to look into those specifically, but overall the Mk6 platform is reliable, so you shouldn't worry too much! For a clutch, we typically run Southbend in our cars, however most of the major brands are safe to choose from! There aren't many mods that can't be used on the roads - but we would shy away from making things too stiff, or maintenance heavy. Examples of this would be parts like solid spherical bushings, solid engine mounts, etc. Tailor the car to how you will be driving it! Sometimes we overestimate how aggressive we are willing to drive the car!

You shouldn't need to do any alignments or calibration after these pads and rotors - however there may be a brake service interval that you may want to reset in the cars computer! Unfortunately, we've sold this car, so I can't go check!

typically a cat-back exhaust doesn't replace any emissions related components (like this one), however it can vary so check your local laws! certain places don't allow you to modify the exhaust at all!

If you have a non-lighting package golf/GTI (halogen headlights), these will be a direct plug and play! The LEDs are built into the projector - so there are no bulbs to install, similar to OEM LEDs! They are also now all ceramic coated - which will help protect the clear coat and keep them clean!
