Building a model railway - Layout update-Castle, bridge and scenics

In this update, I show you all the little details ready for scenics, I start work on a retaining wall, for the heritage lines on the top sections
A First look at an Iron bridge and weathering.
Progress with the rock faces and a first look where the Castle ‘Crossways Castle’ will be situated.
Plus I add in a Reused Gaugemaster back scene to the lower level to create depth with what will be a loco engine shed and storage area.
Materials that I have used to create the following are
One strike filler
Scale model scenery brick papers
3mm grey card
Resin castle from eBay
Double track Mdf bow bridge from Amazon
Various acrylic paints
Vallejo weathering powders - rust set
Humbrol smoke weathering powder

Loving Causeway Castle. A great buy. Purple buddleia grows everywhere on the railway. Green Scene do a heather mix which when dropped onto sea foam creates a convincing buddleia. just a thought. :)

Wow you have really gone to town. The rocks look great, the castle is a fab idea. I have a war-hammer derelict church waiting on the shelf to do similar, your progress has happened so quickly. I am looking forward to the next update. Regards Alan also in the loft :o)

A ruined castle is seen in the background of a railway scene. Nice updates, but the more you show, the less work you get done. Please knuckle down and work steadily off-screen, with no more updates till the work is 100% finished. It's like taking exams in school, you need to work quietly. No chitchat till the work is done.
