Very nice medieval street! Good job mate :). If you want a recomedation you could have a city guard house with some knights. It could have an area to play cards downstairs and upstairs some bunk beds to sleep. Also a church would look good and maybe a mill house to go next to the bakery

Looking good! If you're looking for additional buildings, here are some options: stable, granary/mill (either a windmill on a high place, or a water mill in a river, which would be a great opportunity for a bridge, perhaps with a toll booth), arsenal (for the city watch), law court, hall of records/library, church/temple, mayor's palace, sanitation (maybe an aqueduct terminus, or a cistern, or maybe even just some wagons with straw and shovels), and a fountain (both for decoration and for residents to have access to relatively clean water).
@zanderfus27235 ай бұрын

A carpenters workshop where more of the fun printed wood tiles can be used scattered about. Almost like the woodworker inside is the one who helped carve the designs for the taverns beams and helped make the various furniture in the other shops too. Bonus points if you can manage a medieval foot pedal lathe, or if space cant allow for it a shavehorse You could even make a custom simple Adze for the carpenter with a short bar piece and one of the many grey colors of part 4085d or 4085a or any similar clip plate. And then a matching 1x1 square tile put ontop of it if you want to cover the stud though it may be a bit thick.

Great model, I've done similar before for modern town, I called it "midi scale" - and it's a great way to get a lot of town without the expense and storage concerns with massive buildings. My suggestion for you is to add alleys and perhaps a gatehouse, to suggest a 3rd dimension - that the town comes into and out of the bookshelves it lives on. Getting off-stud (and off grid) also does amazing things even in a tight space to bring it to life.
@Goldfyre4 ай бұрын
Really great suggestions and I couldn't agree more when it comes to scale. I just don't have the parts collection to do a "full-scale" modular city. But yeah, thank you for the suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Cool to see small builds. You've inspired me to want to build a few smaller MOC to contrast my 2x and oversize builds. Amazing to see the different storefronts share interior walls. I can Imagine corner buildings on each end, each attached to a row of buildings until you have a "superblock" with a commons in the middle like you see in Barcelona. A literal "town square" if you will 😅

Lovely builds! I would suggest you do some of the normal day to day medieval stuff as well, not only the fancy parts.
