I love Assembly Square, it’s practically a city all by itself with all the content crammed into it. It’s a great option for someone looking to get just 1 or 2 modular sets. But my favorites are still The Detective’s Office, The Brick Bank, and the Police station. I just love all the mechanical interactive features built into those, which to me is the essence of LEGO.

Agree! Its actually the only LEGO modular that I won right now. I, too, am a big film noir fan and the Detective Office just seems like a fun place to hang out and get into some trouble. I am eyeing another modular purchase this year. The Tudor is amazing, but I think I need to pick up the Boutique Hotel before it gets discontinued this year. I missed the Parisian Restaurant some years back and I still regret not buying it. I get similar vibes from the Boutique Hotel.

Solid list, Kelton. I'd say this is very similar to mine. You're not the first KZbinr to have Tudor as your number 1. I have not done an official Alex ranking, but this would be top 3 for me. I have to say that my reaction to when I first saw it was similar to when I saw Café Corner for the first time. And that's a good thing.

@keltondavisLEGO Definitely. I've always found it hard to rank modulars without the nostalgia influence kicking in! Parisian restaurant has long been one of my top simply because it was the first one I bought in 2014 after a trip to France. My biggest issue with your top picks is the Town Hall... I've always thought it a bit boring!! It's one of the few I never bought when it was available simply because it looked so plain to me next to all the other more colourful options... but if I'd parted it together and built it as you did, I would likely feel differently... it's all about the nostalgia 😂
