I’ve been struggling with this lately. I wear leggings and a sweater or flannel during the winter while at home. I’m better about dresses in the warmer months. Thanks for the encouragement! Oh, I need bangs too! 😂

Earrings and lipstick 💄 look great with flannel. Put a cami under and fix your hair and you’re golden 😊.Though I rarely wear lipstick myself.

I loved this so much! I have 6 children and have realized lately how easy it is to fall into the frumpy trap. I needed to hear this. God in us being the beauty we carry is simple, and a truth I knew in my head, but definitely not in my heart. I was raised with time in the mirror being vain and a sin (beyond making sure I was clean) and have wrestled with that throughout adulthood. I think I’m going to be able to move forward with peace about this and have a little fun while I’m at it!

Thank you! I've always had mixed feelings about feeling guilty about spending time on my hair and makeup twice a week but I should invest in how I look more often. I haven't bought myself new clothes in 10 years or so. But I've been wanting to but then feel guilty for wanting that but I really shouldn't feel guilty. Good point that we appreciate people who take care of themselves

That is amazing about your lack of grey hair! I've been going white since age 20! (genetic on my father's side) I don't do well with hair dye either, as it irritates my scalp, so I'm looking into henna dye pretty soon. I don't know if henna works for lighter hair types though, as it is for Indian women. But maybe something to consider for some women. It is natural, so better for the whole body. You are the perfect woman to do a video like this. I appreciate the "permission" to put a little more effort into my looks. It's something I've had a little more time to consider now that my youngest is over 3 now, and God has been convicting me of this lately, so your video brings confirmation, dear sister. This is an important topic, and you covered it so wonderfully. Thank you!
