Many newbies might not know this but, in the late 20th century. Like after independence of Pakistan, families living in punjab region used this method to build the houses as many were poor. Even my family back home lived in this house until 1980s, when my grandfather found a high paying job in Saudi Arabia. I am so grateful that this mud house was a shelter for my ancestors. I hope to build one too when i go back to Pakistan.
