Hi dag. We in germany have that too. There are several aspects. 1: the white one is the drive-back-light so you can see whats behind you and other can see u that you are going to drive backwarts. It automaticly switches on when chainging in the Backwarts-gear. The red one is the rear fog light. It is brighter than the other red lights. Only switch it on when fog and visual below 50 m. 2: using only one white light and one red light is way cheaper for the producer companies. I hope I could help there.

In the UK, the fog light has to be on the right (off) side of the vehicle. Even the old 206 had the lamp very slightly set to right of centre. I assume in any European (lefthand drive) countries, this would mean it has to be on the left of the vehicle.

The 3rd brake light is a safety feature to notify passing vehicles from behind that the driver door exit is on that side and to be careful if someone does step out. It should light up also if you put your front lights on.

It would be nice to buy different tires for different size tractors. Row crops for just small tractors up to medium. Maybe some for larger medium to full large. Just have them in your inventory and showing which tractor they may be on for the time being. Use your mechanic shed to change the tires like normal. Do for all types too.

Hey Dag, I owned a JCB Fastrac 3185 about a year ago and the owner's manual said it was a fog light but only turned on when the rear working light were engaged. Cheers!

Truck driver here.. it's just a design with 4 on each side.. Left 1 yellow indicator light plus 3 red backlight Right 1 yellow indicator plus 2 red backlight and 1 white reverse light The 2 to the middle is work light lamps and not reverse light And that's also normal to see on trucks.. specially on trailers

@12:15 entrance way, because if you exit you have before entered , the existing is not counted we have already forgotten about you when you closed the door, be on your merry way, wed have the same issue; poort (gate but there is no gate) or op- en af-rit (on and off drive) , we also use the word plaats (sort of like yard but then smaller and for a house but can also be used for like a machinery yard)

That's similar to the track I created to join the lower yard with the top at that end, but I painted a narrow strip of grass down the middle to give the impression grass had grown through the gravel between where the vehicles' wheels would run.

dagger, when you backup in the JCB the third light will turn on because it is a reverse light. I dont know about you, but in the USA it is ilegal to have a road vehicle without a reverse light as far as I know. seeing as they sell them in the US they have to be included :)

You know.. I'm watching this video in 2020.. And I must say... It must be so easy to put that tractor in reverse and find out if it is reverse or fog.. Oh BTW I've been a operator for several years now.. And I've never seen equipment with fog lights. But that is just my experience..!!

In Europe it tends to be a bit more foggy. So a rear fog lamp like bmw and audi and sprinter vans is probably correct

Your going the wrong way with the topper as the metal cover is there to catch anything flying out while the rubber is meant to be at the front this is why the one I have irl is better as you can swap the pto round to the opposite side good video tho!

That Light is a Reversing Light, Fog lights are Red and reversing lights are White, this light is White. It only looks like it has a "red bulb" because of the lighting in the shed and the fact that it has dirt in the center of it

This is old, but they were talking about the clear light, not the red light. Fog lights aren’t red, they’re yellow. That clear light is a backup light. You don’t need fog lamps on the back of a vehicle.
