Also, what are the bolts you used with hammering into the wood nut? Where can I get it in Canada? Would appreciate the info, with all COVID lockdowns we just have no choice but build our own playgrounds :/

www.jacksfurnitureplans.com/ $1.95 for his playground plans. I'm in the middle of building his playground set now and the plans are perfect and nearly free. A little bigger (so more expensive) than this but it's a great build and only a couple tricky parts. I spent around $600 in lumber but got all the accessories for free but taking down an old beat up set for someone.

@hannamyers35034 жыл бұрын
I saw in another comment $500 for lumber. We're building a swingset twice this size and the lumber for all the ground contact pressure treated wood is about $250-$300(home Depot). A box of 25 4" bolts is about $35. Accessories are about $20 each. I got a pack of monkey bars on Amazon for about $20, a pack of 10 rock wall plastic climbing rocks on Amazon for $20. Grab bars were $7 on Amazon. A swingset tarp on Amazon was about $30. We got swings and one slide free from a neighbor and bought a 7 foot tube slide used for $200. Way cheaper than swingset stores charge. Most seem to want at least $1,000 for a set that might have cost $200-$300 to make.

Honestly $1500 is a good deal. Once you start adding up the cost of the slide, swings, all the hardware you will be paying more. At least in Canada where I live.
