Building a Pole Barn Pad

My barn blew away earlier this year in some bad wind. Finally having a new one put up. Barn was built in the 80’s well before my time. The ground under it was terrible like the existing barn you showed. Stayed soaking wet all the time. I tried to work on it some a few times and the front end of my tractor just sunk in it. That ol barn blowing away was a blessing in disguise 😂 hated that it happened but glad it did.

LONG TIME AGO , THEY USE TO D - GRASS PAD / NOT NO MORE / GRASS IS FIBER FOR BUILDING ANY PAD !

How come you didn't lay down some geo textile fabric?

I don’t usually use it in a barn, unless I have a problem
