Nice video and build! Do you still like the lift? I'm looking to replace my rockler pro it's a pos!! Also I recommend not using an impact for pocket holes everyone straps the screws out. I saw you do it too. I quit using my impacts and use a 2 speed driver it was a game changer.

Interesting and informative video; very interesting project design. But viewers can do without all the blurry images.

Nice close up footage or your corner radius not matching the plate at all

Nice video. What router are you using in the lift?
@geoffhickin70003 жыл бұрын
Anyone thinking of doing this with the Kreg router lift should note that the radius of the curved corners on the router plate are much larger than the router bit used to cut them. It's a characteristic of the Kreg that results in an unfortunate gap at the corners if you just cut them with the router.
@airman98202 жыл бұрын
Yes Kreg says to use a one and a half inch bit to drill corners out then router the rest. That gap would drive me nuts.

Nice build! Do you know if the festool 1400 router would work in the kreg base? Thanks

What router are you using with this table? Is it makita rt0700 series trim router?
@KnottyDogWoodshop4 жыл бұрын
kukumalu255 i was using an older craftsman or portercable. I can’t remember now, I have since replaced it
@thepoplarshop6 жыл бұрын
I could make a router table like that if I had a fancy glue spreader like you used. How much did that glue spreader cost ? $13.99 ? Where can I order one like that ? LOL ! ! ! ! Solid build my friend. Well done !

Its Free.99! its my favorite price out in the market! lol Thanks for watching! my new shop wall/cabinets are built and inspired by your sys port video!

Seems like it would wobble left/right?
@KnottyDogWoodshop6 жыл бұрын
Steven Bloomfield it does have a slight wobble but this is a my jobsite router table. I have a dedicated on in my bench in my shop. This gives me an extra router table or work surface if I’m working outside. You can easily attach a board below to prevent the racking.
