Wrong! The VP serves two purposes: 1) Appeal to the other side, a stooge any nencon would feel comfortable with. 2) Be so odious that the establishment would fear kicking you out because then they'd be stuck with them. Waluigi is your man.

Secretary of Interior should have been Celebi, that was an obvious choice to me especially since she/they can understand speech and communicate with other species especially humans. Now match that she would be trying to protect nature and correct issues (whether with time control or not). Attorney General would be Palutena or Sothis from Fire Emblem as that is usually a lawyer/judge. Secretary of Defense while potentially problematic later is Ganondorf, specifically Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf or Wind Waker Ganondorf. He is always a high ranking military leader, a tactical mastermind, charismatic, understands how to use POWER. He is a little thirsty though, but if you keep his people happy, he generally is OK with you and he might stay a bit more "Wind Waker" level. Secretary of Treasury should be Dedede or Bowser, specifically Bowser because holy crap does he understand money and how to budget and get stuff done with it. Wario would horde it, Bowser knows how to use his wealth and thus how a country should. His kingdom may be hellscapes, but they are well financed hellscapes. Pauline is Secretary of State, easily. Vice President is Mii Fighter or Kirby or Ditto. Literally the "everyman" Vice Presidential choice with either of them. If Kirby is VP, Mii Fighter and Ditto are absolutely getting on the Supreme Court (at least 3 of them). Ditto will be especially non-partial.

Bowser would have greater impact as Fed Chair. Remember that Secretary of Interior's greatest impact is land rights and resource extraction-Fudj made the same mistake as Rick Perry in assuming that DoE is about coal and oil, when it's actually mostly about nuclear-so Chibi Robo is still a good pick for Energy Sec, but Minecraft Steve from Super Smash or Monte Mole is probably the best choice for Interior. Otherwise: definitely defensible picks.

@@GSBarlev You think the adorable amd also Grass/PSYCHIC Celebi wouldn't be able to secure land rights? They would do it and make sure funds to towards repairing the land (or literally using power to help that). I had already planned to have Them be friends with Ganondorf so his desert people get more oasis to secure his cooperation and confidence in keeping our military happy and able to come home (working with SoVA) and hopefully prevent his "usurper tendencies down. Similar reasons to why I want Bowser in charge of the money with (Federal Chairman would be second choice for him). Actually Federal Chair is more likely to be Happy Mask Salesman or Beedle.

Since I left out my original post, I needed a Energy and VA Secretary. Secretary of Energy should be an Electric or Fire Gym Leader, preferably someone known for understand things technically. So I pick Sophocles from Pokémon Sun/Moon. I could also choose Lt. Surge but he should be SoVA. Secretary of Veterans Affairs is Gym Leader Lt. Surge. Veteran of numerous Pokémon wars, he would have an understanding of the needs of the servicemembers, and empathy to see that they get it, human or beasts.

I think Mr. Grizz from the Splatoon franchise should be considered for the position of Secretary of Labor. While he is a very shifty guy, it is undeniable that he came from nothing (specifically a cryostasis pod in a wrecked spacecraft) and managed to work his way up to the top building a highly valued company that countless Inklings and Octolings who would otherwise be massive NEETs enjoy working at. He *might* be secretly causing the deadly conflict that Grizzco directly profits off of, but hey, what politician doesn't have some skeletons in their closet.

Personally I’d pick Monica Vandham from Xenoblade 3 as Secretary of Veterans Affairs. She is someone with active military experience. She also has a great deal of respect and empathy for soldiers both in and outside her community. Her experience being a single parent would also help win brownie points with voters.

This is what you get for not being super into Fire Emblem, literally any Fire Emblem character that's able to use staves can heal anything short of death with magic. And your cabinet's out here with Dr. Mario, man those viruses weren't even really germs, they were aliens stoopid! /s Serious edit: Brittany would have arguably been a better secretary of agriculture, she has much of the same skill set as Olimar but is an actual botanist where as Olimar is very bad intergalactic cargo driver (driver? Flyer? He delivers vegetables to different planets). The Pikmin 3 captains are also arguably better Pikmin commanders as from the outset they have the ability to command their pikmin to do things like charge or perform dodge rolls while Olimar can only really command them to line up. Second Edit: Obvious secrety of the treasury, Colin from Advance Wars. He passively generates more gold then anyone else and his CO power is to just spawn more gold. Not UDS, actual gold.
