This is awesome. I don’t need to get my pulley back down in my case so I can just do the pulley doubled back and into the loop for the slip knot. Excited to try it out thanks for sharing

Great demonstration! For others - please remember you can change the playback speed to .75. Makes it easier to follow. I am going to try this!

Thanks! Gonna watch and take notes because I have a wire antenna that I've been wanting to hang for awhile. 73, K8JLW

I have an efhw antenna sloper configured from my shack up to a tree. There is pulley in the tree with 5 kg weight giving the wire a gravity pull. Is it a good idea? I'm not sure but the gravity pull keeps the wire straight at all time.

That’s what I do with my center fed dipole. I have 3 pulleys with weights holding it up. I think my weights are between 3-4kg. The weight of the antenna wire and how strong it is will dictate how much counter balance weight you can safely use before it breaks the wire. I posted two videos about the weights that I made. Here is the second one where I filled them with BBs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWGvd62CjLOMjbc
