Basically the reason why we use pumpkins for Halloween is due to the fact that our ancestors used to carve turnips/ radishes but they were too complex to carve so we made the switch to pumpkins to celebrate the fall season! Also a contributor to it was Irish traditions and folklore

I'm thinking for the ball pit for the carnival you could put a transparent basic shape and the bottom so it won't be too deep then put a ball pit and put it on top of the basic shape. After that you need to find a way that you can make people go through the decal thank you bye!
