Hotels and motels are different! Hotels are bigger and much more safer honestly and usually have people check to make sure you're safe and everything. Staying in a motel always felt less safe to me honestly, because for a motel, anyone could just come in and stay and the rooms aren't as separated. Like even as a kid, the thought of staying in some roadside motel felt so sketchy to me but if you're in an emergency you gotta do what you gotta do.

12:19 STORY TIME Okay so just recently I was talking to my mom about a motel that we stayed at once. I was like 8 at the time and REALLY sick. My mom didn’t have enough for a hotel and found the cheapest place for us to sleep at. I remember the place being DISGUSTING. Like stains everywhere. But my mom recently told me she’s sure someone was murdered in it. Cuz there was blood on the CEILING and the walls just literally everywhere. Like my mom thinks someone was like pew pewed in the head there. I was like WHATTT, and ig she didn’t tell me cuz I was 8 and was sick. I was scared when I learned we still slept there. Oh and it smelled horrible. EDIT: it’d be cool if you did a hotel but like FANCY like for royalty cuz why not
